We believe that the term &#8220;marriage&#8221; has only one, legitimate meaning, and that is marriage sanctioned by God, which joins one man and one woman in a single, covenantal union, as delineated by Scripture. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, transgenderism and pornography are sinful perversions of God&#8217;s gift of sex. We believe that God disapproves of \u00a0and forbids any attempt to alter one&#8217;s gender by surgery or appearance. (Gen.\u00a02:24; Gen. 19:5, 13; Gen. 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30; Rom. 1:26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thess. 4:1-8; Heb. 13:4)<\/p>\n<p>We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Ps 139.)<\/p>\n<p><strong><span dir=\"auto\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/strong><em><span dir=\"auto\">This doctrinal statement does not exhaustively cover the entirety of our faith.
