There are 5 lessons in this course.

Lesson 1

Although it is a common word, not many people understand what salvation is all about. Election and predestination are both key words related to salvation but do they mean the same thing? This question and others answered concerning the all-important Bible doctrine of salvation in this study.

Lesson 2

God works behind the scenes controlling the scenes He is behind. Also, everything that God chooses to do, relates to Jesus Christ. Predestination is part of God's choice as He set a destination for believers before He created us, but is it ever used to describe the unbeliever in the Bible?

Lesson 3

The ultimate goal for everything that God does for us is that we should be holy. Dr. Strauss deals with the concepts of election and adoption in this study. Is going to Heaven God’s final goal for the believer?

Lesson 4

Regeneration means to be born again & it appears in the New Testament only twice. When water in Scripture is used symbolically for cleansing purposes it refers to the Word of God. To be born again actually means to be born from above, and we need to be born from above because we were not born right the 1st time.

Lesson 5

Justification is the sovereign act of God in which He declares righteous the believing sinner. The fact that believers are right with God gives us peace like nothing else, but is there any difference between forgiveness and justification?
