Dr. Charles Wagner teaches some of the great truths of Christ by highlighting the occasions and meanings when Jesus declared I am: the Bread of life, the Good Shepherd, the Resurrection, the Vine, and the Alpha and Omega. These truths show the absolute Deity of Jesus Christ. Dr. Charles Wagner was a well known Bible teacher, Pastor, and Bible conference speaker. He pastored in Covington, Kentucky for many years and authored several books. He is now with the Lord.

There are 5 lessons in this course.

Lesson 1

John chapter 6 and 8. This lesson introduces us to the “I am” passages and claims of Christ. The first claim is that Jesus is the Bread of Life. The second is the claim that Jesus is the Light of the World. Why are the “I am” phrases significant? What is Jesus communicating with these sayings?


Lesson 2

John 10. Jesus claim to be the Door and the Good Shepherd to the sheep fold. We learn about the sheep fold and we also see the promises of God’s towards His sheep.


Lesson 3

John 11. We see that Jesus claims to be the Way, the Truth, the Life and the Resurrection. Does this really mean that Christ is the only way to be saved?


Lesson 4

John 15. This lesson looks at Jesus as the true vine. We see the role of the Father and Son in judging the world and the proper place of the Christian abiding in Christ. The importance of abiding in Christ is explored along with the blessings of abiding.


Lesson 5

Revelation 1. This lesson looks at Jesus as Alpha and Omega. This is the last I Am passage in the Bible and we see what this means as Christ reveals himself in power in the end times. We learn of the blessing of being found in Christ and the dreadful fate for those that He judges.
