There are 4 lessons in this course.

Lesson 1

Because human nature is what it is, the only way to get the job done is to have assistant managers. We all tend to go our own way, and the price of leadership is to face up to the nature of human nature.

Lesson 2

The potential for acting like Jesus is available to us. So is the potential for acting like the devil. The nature of human nature is what this lesson is all about. A starting point in building a relationship with people is to clarify what is expected of them. When we say to a person they did a good job when they did not, we are telling them we don't know what we're doing.

Lesson 3

When giving an assignment, there is a process of negotiation. There must be a meeting of the minds. A person naturally attempts to justify or cover up his mistakes. The nature of human nature is that we are reluctant to hold a man accountable. If we're responsible, the only answer is for us to do what we're responsible for.

Lesson 4

Leadership demands a man whose happiness is not dependent on whether there are any problems. If someone loves us, they will be sure that we are confronted by the liabilities that hinder our success. A leader must have a burden to bring the conflict out in the open & deal with it.
