Lesson 1

Dr. Lehman Strauss introduces this General Epistle. What happens within a person when he is "born again?" What is the "Birthmark" of a true believer?

Lesson 2

In lesson two you will learn how a believer gets in fellowship with God and what it means. Dr. Strauss helps you to understand what John meant when he talks about walking in darkness and walking in the light.

Lesson 3

In this third of five lessons, Dr. Strauss shows what true joy is to the believer and how one can keep it going in his/her heart. What can a Christian do to get back in fellowship with God when this has been broken by bad choices and sin?

Lesson 4

What is the sin nature that dwells in every human? Since Jesus had a human body, did He have a sin nature? Jesus was purposely tempted by the devil; could he have sinned? Who is our Divine advocate?

Lesson 5

In this final lesson Dr. Strauss talks about the longevity of salvation. Is it possible for a Christian to lose his salvation? There were a number of people in Scripture that God struck dead because of their sins. Did they go to heaven or did they lose their salvation?
