Description: Dr. Wendell Kempton uses these 5 sessions to elaborate on one of Paul's letters to Timothy that instructed him and us in the difficulties of living right in a wrong world. He helps the student understand three kinds of death mentioned in Scripture. The student learns from Timothy's situations how to endure the hardships of life and remain true to Christ even while others desert. Dr. Kempton was a well-known Bible teacher who traveled extensively to speak in churches, colleges, seminaries, and universities. Dr. Kempton also served as the President Emeritus of the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. He is now home with the Lord.

Dr. Kempton shares in this lesson the chief characteristics of a committed Christian. Do you qualify? Learn the significance of Paul's analogy of Christians being "farmers."

Lesson 5

In the verses covered in this lesson, you see the term "seed of David." What is the importance of this to you? We learn here that God always acts in concert with His character. Is this bad or good news?
