Description: These four audio lessons help the student have a better understanding of God's original intent for the church and its function in our world. Dr. Manford Gutzke, the teacher, identifies some of the pictures and descriptions of the church. He was a Seminary professor, radio teacher, as well as a prolific writer. He is now at home with the Lord.

There are 4 lessons in this course.

Lesson 1

What is the church in today’s culture? What does the Bible say it is? This lesson looks at what is the church and who is in the Church of Jesus Christ.


Lesson 2

The Body of Christ and the Church. What is the role of obedience and service in the church? How is the Church like a body? This lesson explores these topics as we grow in our understanding of the Church.


Lesson 3

This lesson looks at the gathering of Christians for fellowship and communion. Also, the corporate life of the church as we focus on God and others.


Lesson 4

What is love? And how does it apply to the church and its actions? This lesson explores these questions and also looks at what it means to be in the world, but not of the world.
