There are 5 lessons in this course.

Lesson 1

We will find that Jesus Christ is alive from a story in the Old Testament. This story of Ruth was written over 13 hundred years before the birth of Jesus Christ.

Lesson 2

Elimelech, whose name means my God is King, married Naomi whose name means pleasure. They had two sons and their names meant sickly and pining away. The sons were married before they died and one wife was named Ruth which means beauty. Both Ruth and Orpah registered a decision, but time would tell that only one was genuine.

Lesson 3

Ruth is a fascinating book found between the books of Judges and First Samuel and is authored by the Holy Spirit. Naomi told Ruth that Boaz was a near kinsman or one who had the right to redeem. Just so, all believers are called to live for Him who died for them and who arose again.

Lesson 4

In the process of the regenerated purpose of God we will be restored to our true humanity into total likeness of God our Maker. Like Ruth and Boaz, God wants us to lay our need by faith at His feet and allow Him to move redemptively and regeneratively in our situations.

Lesson 5

Ruth's act of laying down at Boaz's feet and asking him to redeem her gives us a magnificent picture of the attitude of faith. Boaz stated that he was redeeming all that was Elimelech's. The redemptive transaction was all embracing and would have covered all including Orpah.
