There are 5 lessons in this course.

Lesson 1

This lesson walks through the Old Testament showing the works of God in history. We go from creation, to the fall, to the promise of a redeemer who will crush evil once and for all. We learn that the continuing warfare of the kingdom of Satan and the kingdom of God provides the key to understanding world history and God’s ultimate purpose to glorify Himself by demonstrating that He alone is sovereign.

Lesson 2

This lesson continues walking through history to show Satan’s continued attack against God up to the middle ages. We see how God used the Greek language to spread the Gospel and how Satan failed to stop Jesus’ birth and ministry. We then learn how Satan’s failed attempts to stop Jesus led to Satan’s attacks against the Jews and against the church in order to try to stop the work of God.

Lesson 3

From the Middle ages to today, this lesson looks at the movements of God in bringing about the protestant Reformation and the foundation of the Gospel being spread again. We also see the attack of Satan to once again destroy the church by force. When force does not work we see the rise of intellectual and philosophic movements that undermine the authority of scripture and lead us to where we are today with widespread atheism, naturalism, and liberalism.

Lesson 4

In the modern period we see the growing denial of a personal God in a variety of ways. This lesson explores these and the consequences to our society for not believing in God. From emotional despair, to lack of moral absolutes, to the rejection of authority and growing lawlessness. We see how mankind is being prepared by Satan for his antichrist in the end days.

Lesson 5

How will all this conflict end? This lesson looks at what the scriptures say about the future and their major events. We see that the next major event is the rapture of the church, then the Tribulation period. The antichrist will show himself at this time and even through all this there will be some saved. We learn of the Last Battle and three series of judgments from God. At long last God overcomes and sets right all the evil in the world for God’s final victory.
