Lesson 1

This lesson deals with the disappointments of life from two areas. The disappointment due to circumstances and people. We see how a proper view of God and man can help.

Lesson 2

Is worry a sin? This lesson deals with worry and anxiety. We see how we don’t have to worry about material things. Our God is a big God and He can meet our needs, so we need to trust him.

Lesson 3

This lesson looks at three men in the Bible who learned from their suffering. Job, Paul, and the man born blind in the Gospel of John all have something to teach us in the area of suffering.

Lesson 4

This lesson looks at the tension between serving God and Mammon. We see the impossibility of serving both. We also see the false belief that material blessing equals blessing with God. This leads us to look at the responsibility of the Christian to their job vs. their faith and family.

Lesson 5

This lesson looks at a how our fears and feelings of inferiority prevent us from doing God’s will. We see how Moses and Jeremiah dealt with their feelings and fears and how God’s protection and Divine authority was with them.

Lesson 6

One of the problems we face is discovering the will of God. God only reveals His will to the individual and only as they are willing to follow it. There are many dangers in seeking and following God’s will and we will look at them as we explore God’s will in this lesson.
