70800 Who Is Jesus (Level -1)

Speaker: Dr. Richard Strauss

Description: Dr. Richard Strauss takes you on a sprint through the four Gospels in the New Testament (Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John). Each of these writers tells about Jesus but from a different perspective. As you see each perspective you will better understand just who Jesus is and the difference this can make in your life. This study can help your faith to become more clear and contagious. Dr. Richard Strauss was a Pastor (in Alabama and California) and noted Bible conference speaker. He is now home with the Lord.

There are 4 lessons in this course.

Lesson 1 70801 Who Is Jesus

You will meet Jesus as God’s King in this lesson. What does this mean for your life today and in the future? Why did Jesus not conform to the preconceived notions of the leaders in His day? What consequences did this bring into His life? Why did Jesus’ own people reject Him as their king? What will it mean if Jesus rules in my life?

Lesson 2

Mark's little book was written by a Roman and gives a very different perspective than did Matthew. He shows Jesus as a man, human and that He was a man on a mission. His life was active and purposeful. What does God want to do in your life so it will be different and more worthwhile?

Lesson 3

Luke, a physician shows us that Jesus was the Divine Savior and that He came to provide deliverance and forgiveness. In what area in your life do you need deliverance? In this survey of Luke's book you will learn of God’s plan for you to be learning, growing, living your life for God’s glory and your pleasure. What does He want you to do?

Lesson 4

In this lesson John will help you to see Jesus differently than you have in the other Gospels. Jesus is presented and proven to be God. John is concerned about your belief in Christ and that you find true life. This book is filled with the things Jesus claimed and proved and the controversies He faced.
