Elwood McQuaid began ministering in churches in Virginia in the early 1950's. He left the pastoral ministry in 1977 to join The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry and served as executive director for many years. Writing was a major part of his work and his books have been translated into several languages. Dr. McQuaid also served as executive editor of Israel My Glory magazine. He first traveled to the Middle East in the early 1970's. This led to his research and extensive writing on Israel and on God's prophetic program for the nation and the Jewish people. Dr. McQuaid passed away in 2024 at the age of 93.

Harry Reeder III served as pastor of Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham, Alabama, from 1999 until his passing in 2023. He has been in the pastorate since 1974, serving in churches in Tennessee, Florida and North Carolina, before being called to Briarwood. An increasing amount of his time is devoted to leadership development and Christian Manhood Seminars, along with the ministry of Church Revitalization. He also has a number of published works.
