The Bible Broadcasting Network is seeking an organized and dependable individual to join our Business Office as a Financial Accounts Associate. This full-time position is based at our headquarters in Charlotte, NC, and is not eligible for remote work. The ideal candidate is one who enjoys working with numbers, values accuracy, and wants to contribute to a ministry environment. You’ll support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks that keep our financial records accurate and ministry operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions and assist with account reconciliation
- Help prepare monthly and annual financial reports
- Maintain accurate records for donors, vendors, and staff
- Process invoices and assist with payment tracking
- Provide support for payroll and employee benefit tracking as needed
- Assist with documentation for audits and internal reviews
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial accuracy
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- A heart for ministry and alignment with BBN’s mission and values
- Must be located in Charlotte, NC and work on-site at BBN’s headquarters
- Experience or training in bookkeeping or accounting
- Experience with QuickBooks is helpful
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, e.g., Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Bonus Skills:

BBN is looking for a Network Announcer to host our on-air segments of music and Bible teaching. The position is critical to our mission of communicating the gospel, teaching God’s Word, and encouraging Christians daily through a unique blend of ministry-focused programming. The BBN Announcer is responsible for the overall flow of the programming, sharing encouraging devotional thoughts and comments, promoting programs and ministry features, sharing the gospel, producing special programming features, etc. The ideal candidate for the position should be creative, sense the Lord’s call into a full-time ministry, be teachable, and possess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, and a desire to use those skills to share the gospel with BBN listeners. The candidate should also be willing to work in a structured environment, viewing a computer screen for the majority of the day.

Required Knowledge:

The Bible Broadcasting Network is a global Christian radio and Internet ministry headquartered in Charlotte, NC. We serve listeners around the world with Bible teaching and sacred music. Excellence, stewardship, and integrity guide our work, including how we build and support our technology.
Our IT Specialists set up, support, and maintain the computers, servers, networks, and audio-delivery systems that keep BBN running every day. This role is hands-on and people-focused. You will resolve tickets, deploy and secure endpoints, help manage virtualized servers, support cloud services, and document what you do so others can follow it later. This position requires re-location to Charlotte, NC. Remote work is not available.
With the variety of disciplines involved in the IT field, some responsibilities will depend on the individual’s aptitude and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely technical support to staff, closing the loop through the ticketing system, email, and chat.
- Diagnose and repair Windows and macOS laptops, desktops, and peripherals. Replace modular components as needed.
- Build, image, and deploy endpoints. Apply updates and patches. Maintain antivirus and EDR tools.
- Monitor and respond to system alerts. Protect audio and written data through backups, access controls, and basic hardening.
- Install and update BBN-specific software and applications.
- Create or modify simple scripts to automate repeatable tasks where practical.
- Assist with purchase requests for parts or licenses. Track inventory and dispose of defective gear appropriately.
- Support virtualization environments (VMware vSphere/ESXi) under the guidance of senior staff.
- Learn and support ENCO DAD for digital audio delivery.
- Support cloud services for storage and server management, including Google Workspace.
- Document fixes, procedures, and diagrams so others can find answers fast.
- Participate in occasional after-hours maintenance or on-call rotations.
Qualifications:
- Alignment with BBN’s Christian mission and values.
- Two-year or four-year degree in IT, computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on IT experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS administration.
- Basic networking skills: TCP/IP, switching, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
- Familiarity with a ticketing system and an organized, follow-through mindset.
- Ability to script simple automations in PowerShell or Bash.
- Strong troubleshooting, clear communication, and polite bedside manner.
- Ability to lift and rack equipment when needed.
Nice to Have…
- Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi.
- Exposure to broadcast audio systems, especially ENCO DAD.
- Linux server familiarity.
- Identity and endpoint management (Google Workspace Admin, Azure AD, MDM).
- Backup solutions and basic disaster recovery concepts.
BBN Technical Environment (examples):
Windows, macOS, Linux, Google Workspace, VMware vSphere/ESXi, ENCO DAD, TCP/IP networking, basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash), and common web standards (HTML/CSS/JS). Experience with any of the following is a plus, not a requirement: C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, SQL, Swift, Java, shell scripting, and common IDEs.

BBN, has an opportunity for a Broadcast Staff Engineer who wishes to dedicate his talents and abilities to Christian Ministry. Relocation to Charlotte, NC, is required. This is a full-time paid position with benefits.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with existing Engineering and Management Staff in the construction and maintenance of AM & FM transmitter sites.
- Install equipment and interconnect wiring at studio and transmitter locations using engineering practices and applicable codes
- In-house construction and testing of wiring harnesses, switching controllers, etc.
- Document equipment and wiring
- Maintain, troubleshoot and repair broadcast transmitters, RF and audio equipment, interconnect wiring, satellite uplink and downlink equipment and broadcast studio equipment
- Periodic travel for radio station construction and major maintenance at existing stations
Required Knowledge:
- Understanding of basic electronics theory
- Working knowledge of radio equipment and transmission
- RF experience and troubleshooting skills
Required Education:
- Preferred – Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum – Associate Degree in Electronics Technology
Preferred Experience:
- Construction and maintenance of AM & or FM broadcast transmitters, transmission systems, antennas, remote control equipment, etc.
- Installation and maintenance of radio studio equipment including mixers, processors, and switchers
- Maintenance of satellite uplink and downlink antennas, transmitters and receivers
- Bench work, including circuit board soldering, wiring and harness construction
