Carl Rea

I have been saved since April 14, 1978. I attended Christian school since the fifth grade, and the Bible was an important part of my life. Although I had a head knowledge, I didn’t have a heart knowledge of Christ. While an evangelist was preaching at my church, I heard a message about hell, and knew that’s where I was headed. God spoke to my heart, and I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior.

Kelly and I have been married for 30 years. God has blessed us with four children. We officially met at Camp Joy, in Whitewater, WI, on Friday, April 13th – it was Good Friday that year! We were married in June, 1993.

While working at the phone company, I received a degree in broadcasting, and prayed that the Lord would use my training and talents for Him. After 34 years in the telephone business, I retired and sought the Lord for what He had planned for me.

I submitted an application to serve at BBN. My wife and I were invited to Charlotte for an interview, and I joined the team in January, 2023. God has provided and cared for my family in many ways. I’m so thankful that He led us to BBN.
