The Unshackled! radio program was begun under the leadership of past Superintendent Harry Saulnier. Harry yearned to reach the masses for Christ and earnestly prayed about the possibility of a radio program. For a short time Harry had a 15 minute program entitled “Doorway to Heaven” on station WAIT in 1945. On this program, Harry often related the true stories of individuals who had been saved at Pacific Garden Mission.
Today Unshackled! is still produced very much as it always has been. Professional actors very ably read the lines. A studio audience thoroughly enjoys watching the entire production.

Adventures In Odyssey began as an experiment. In 1986 Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family wanted to produce a drama series for the radio that would appeal to 8-12 year olds – in the hope of countering some of the questionable programming many kids were getting from Saturday morning cartoons. To put it simply: the purpose of “Adventures In Odyssey” is to present an exciting half-hour program that brings scriptural principles to life through memorable characters, realistic dramas, heartfelt comedy and even a bit of fantasy.

The Captain’s Club is a program for children of all ages produced by the Bible Broadcasting Network, and hosted by Captain Chesterpeake and Sparkle.
