SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions govern participation in the BBN Operational Alerts SMS Program operated by Bible Broadcasting Network, Inc. (“BBN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Program Description
The BBN Operational Alerts SMS Program provides authorized BBN personnel with automated technical and operational notifications.
Messages may include:
- Technical system status and alarms
- Broadcast system and service notifications
- Streaming service status
- Network and infrastructure alerts
- Equipment faults or abnormal conditions
- Commercial power and generator status
- Service interruption and restoration notifications
- Other operational alerts related to BBN systems, facilities, equipment, and services
This program is intended for internal operational communications with authorized BBN personnel. It is not used for advertising, promotional marketing, lead generation, or third-party marketing messages.
Enrollment and Consent
Participation in the BBN Operational Alerts SMS Program is voluntary.
Authorized BBN personnel may enroll through BBN’s internal enrollment process. Individuals must provide their mobile telephone number and affirmatively consent to receive automated SMS notifications from Bible Broadcasting Network before operational messages are sent.
Consent to receive SMS messages is specific to the BBN Operational Alerts SMS Program and is not a condition of employment, purchasing goods or services, or participation in unrelated BBN programs or services.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on system activity and operational conditions. Some periods may have no messages, while outages, alarms, restoration events, or other system conditions may generate multiple notifications.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s wireless carrier and mobile service plan.
BBN is not responsible for fees or charges imposed by a recipient’s wireless carrier.
Opting Out
Recipients may stop receiving messages from the BBN Operational Alerts SMS Program at any time by replying STOP to a message.
After an opt-out request is received, a confirmation message may be sent indicating that the recipient has been unsubscribed. No additional operational messages will be sent unless the recipient subsequently enrolls again.
Help
Recipients may reply HELP for assistance with the BBN Operational Alerts SMS Program.
Authorized BBN personnel may also contact BBN IT Support through the organization’s normal internal support channels.
Message Delivery
SMS delivery is dependent on wireless carriers, telecommunications providers, and other third-party communications infrastructure.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
BBN does not guarantee that every message will be delivered successfully or immediately. SMS notifications should not be considered the sole method of monitoring or responding to critical technical or operational conditions.
Privacy
Information collected in connection with the BBN Operational Alerts SMS Program is handled in accordance with the BBN SMS Privacy Policy:

Mobile telephone numbers, SMS consent information, and opt-in data are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Service providers may process mobile information only as necessary to operate, transmit, or support the SMS notification service on BBN’s behalf.
Third-Party Marketing
The BBN Operational Alerts SMS Program does not provide consent for messages from third parties.
Participation in this program will not result in a recipient’s mobile telephone number or SMS consent information being provided to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Changes to These Terms
BBN may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to the program, applicable requirements, technology, or service providers.
The current version of these Terms and Conditions will be made available on this page and will include the date of the most recent update.
